THE GRAND HEIST

Step into the role as true puzzlesolvers on their biggest mission, the heist of the Tiara of Empress Dagmar. THE GRAND HEIST is a fun family-friendly activity for both trained escapers as well as beginners and children.

THE STORY

Just before a recent exhibition at the National Museum, the Tiara of Empress Dagmar was stolen during transportation. As journalists at the “Daily Gossip” you have investigated the case, and several leads point to no less than the Minister of Justice, who most likely keeps the tiara hidden somewhere in his office. This also explains, why the police have been so reluctant to pursue the leads. But then again, this is your chance to act and get a story for the newspaper headline.

Right now you are in front of his office. You have organized an interview with the minister, which has given you the needed alibi, to enter his waiting room. Your mission is to enter the office and steal the tiara back to the National Museum before the minister comes back from his lunch break. You only have 60 minutes, so it will require ingenuity, creativity and cooperation from the entire group. If you succeed, you’ll not only save a national treasure but also have an exclusive opportunity to publish splendid news.

THE GAME

THE GRAND HEIST is a fun escape game with nice scenography, fun puzzles and surprises. It is suitable for a group of 2-6 people, and since we offer 2 identical escape rooms, you can also play up to 12 people battle mode, where you can compete simultaneously against each other to identify the smartest thieves and “escapers”. If you are just a few, The Grand Heist is also a great escape room for 2 people.

When you arrive, an actor will provide all the necessary introductions, and puzzles and tasks are created so that everyone has a chance to solve the mystery. If you need help along the way, our skilled actor will give you hints via a screen, so you can progress in the game. The are no dangerous elements, and if you want to leave the room or use the toilet, you can just open the door and go out.

DESIGN

THE GRAND HEIST has been developed and adjusted over a few years, and can only be experienced at Escape Room by Midgaard Event. You, therefore, risk not having played the same game elsewhere. The game was previously marketed at the same address as The Olsen Gang Escape Room, but we’ve given the puzzles, scenery and story a thoughtful update, and the Great Heist is no longer affiliated with the Olsen Gang universe.

THE GRAND HEIST is located in the famous Nyhavn in the centre of Copenhagen and is a great place to grab a bite to eat before or after a game since there’s an abundance of restaurants in the vicinity

NOTICE: THE GRAND HEIST is located in Nyhavn, Lille Strandstræde 11, and therefore not together with our other escape rooms in Østerbro.
