Inside the chest, they’ll find a QR code to scan, triggering a large screen display that shows the countdown timer and team results. The event is facilitated by our skilled instructors and can be completed in just 45 minutes from start to finish.

THE ULTIMATE MOBILE ESCAPE GAME

With its capacity for 100 chests and the ability to host up to 1,000 participants simultaneously, Escape the Box is the largest mobile escape game in Denmark. The event combines physical props for each team with a live show featuring countdowns and results displayed on a large screen. Once on-site, our team can introduce and start the game in just 5 minutes, with a total event duration of 45 minutes, making it highly versatile for various occasions.

Escape the Box is ideal for a short team break, a collaborative activity, or a fun addition to your next meeting or conference day. It’s also a perfect icebreaker or entertainment before or after dinner at company parties or Christmas events. Additionally, it works well for private gatherings like dinner parties, bachelor or bachelorette parties, or as an engaging activity in schools, youth clubs, and even educational settings.

COOPERATION AND PUZZLES

The game consists of a series of puzzles and challenges that require teamwork and thinking outside the box. The tasks are varied and include small physical props that can easily be spread out on a conference or dinner table. For team-building activities, we recommend smaller groups of 3-5 participants, while for entertainment during a dinner party, teams of up to 10 participants work perfectly.

PORTABLE ESCAPE GAME TO YOUR CHOSEN LOCATION

Escape the Box is a portable escape game that can be set up anywhere, both inside and outside Denmark. All it requires is a room with tables and chairs for the participants. The event is always managed by our skilled instructors, with a live display of the countdown and results accompanied by dramatic sound effects. We are happy to use pre-installed AV facilities in meeting rooms, or we can provide a projector and screen at an additional cost. For smaller groups, such as private meetings or gatherings at home, the game can even be run using a laptop or by connecting to a TV screen in the room.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL

The difficulty level depends on the time available and the size of the teams. Typically, we recommend 30 minutes for solving the tasks, with teams of 3-5 participants for team-building activities and up to 10 participants per team for festive occasions. Within these parameters, the success rate is around 70%. However, depending on the situation, we can adjust the duration, team size, and other factors to make the game easier or more challenging.

CUSTOMIZED PUZZLES CAN BE INTEGRATED

All tasks are uniquely designed by Midgaard Event. For an additional fee, we can replace or supplement the existing tasks with ones that are company-specific or tailored to the specific event. You can also contribute your own tasks, or we can collaborate to develop them together. Let’s discuss the possibilities, timeframes, and associated costs.

DESIGN

Escape the Box is custom-designed by our in-house game designers and is exclusively available through Midgaard Event. As a mobile escape game, it can be set up anywhere, including conference centers, cafeterias, or meeting rooms. The game can be arranged across multiple small rooms or in one large hall. You can arrange the venue yourself, or we can assist through one of our partners, such as conference centers or restaurants.
